Perfect Hairstyles For Round Face: Try This

Having a round face is very common to women. Most common, in fact, that it is not so hard to find a hairstyle that will fit and beautify such look. Having it does not necessarily mean that you are fat. It is just a matter of making sure that your chosen hairstyle does not make it rounder than it actually is. To find out whether you do have a round face or not, you first need to prepare a tape measure or a ruler. Either of the two will do. Take the measurement across the top part of your cheekbone across the jaw line. Also, measure the widest point of your forehead, across. Now get the measurement from that same widest part of your forehead to your chin.

Having a round face technically makes the measurement of your cheekbones (across) equal to the measurement from your forehead to your chin. It can also be pretty close, if not exact. If you have a round face, there is really no best hairstyle for you. Again, having round face does not automatically make you have the exact same shape as the other round-shaped face people out there. So there are also other things to consider, like the hair length, the texture and weight, and the lifestyle you have. There is quite a number on the list of hairstyles that may be perfect for the round-faced. Choosing layered bangs rather over straightly heavy bangs, bobs and some other styles that may give height, styles that do not make your face wider (preferably the ones which sides are near sides of your face), curls on the top part of your head rather than the sides of your face.

The secret, as always, is in making the best of what you have. If your chin tends to double, the front part of your hair should go above your chin level, giving more attention to your eyes or the upper part of your face. For short necks, you should get short styles, long hair, or highlights that are placed well to make the neck appear more slender. Halo-like highlights helps your face look thinner too! Long hair and short hair work, so long as you wear it around your face rather than pulling your hair backwards. This way, you will not be scared to try out any hair length!

As for the texture, if your hair is thick and course, you will be able to pull off a bed head look. If you have a curly hair, make use of it by bringing it up around the crown. Or wear it longer by putting some of your hair behind your ears with a few thin strips in front to reduce the round-faced detail.
